Popular award winning actress announces end of second marriage

2016 saw a number of divorces in the film world and the trend seems to be continuing in the new year too. Critically acclaimed actress-director Nandita Das has announced that her second marriage to businessman Sobodh Maskara has ended after six years. The couple have a six year old son Vihaan. Nandita was married to Sowmya Sen from 2002-2007 which also ended in divorce.

Nandita is very popular in Tamil after starring in such acclaimed films like Azhagi', Kannathil Muthamittaal' and Neer Paravai'. In a statement she has said that Maskara and herself will continue to be good parents to their son.
