Atharvanam` is a new movie directed by Aathiram who made Silanthi` the first successful digital film in Tamil cinema after which the digitization revolution started with the film becoming extinct now.

Atharvanam` is a Tamil/Kannada bilingual with superstar Shivarajkumar`s cousin Vijayaraghavendhra an alumni of the Adayar Film Institute as hero while Haripriya is playing his love interest. A particular scene in the thriller film which has Haripriya swimming in the pool it required the actress to be in the pool for close to six hours when Haripriya suddenly went into the water and the crew immediately took steps and brought her out.

Haripriya after coming to her senses had informed the crew that due to fatigue she had gone underwater and the team had a difficult time convincing her mother who at last let her complete the scene.
