The COVID cases started multiplying in India again last month and the government ruled that masks are mandatory in Chennai recently. On Tuesday, it was reported that the Hon'ble Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin tested positive for the virus.
The Chief Minister took to his social media page to share an update on his health and wrote, "I was feeling a bit tired today. Tests confirmed that I am Covid-19 positive. I have isolated myself. Let's all wear masks, get vaccinated and stay safe."
Now, the latest news is that CM MK Stalin is admitted to Kauvery Hospital in Chennai. The hospital management released an official statement regarding the Chief Minister's hospitalization. The press release reads:

14th July 2022, 12:20 PM
Medical Bulletin
Honourable Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, Thiru MK Stalin has been admitted at Kauvery Hospital, Alwarpet, Chennai for investigations and observation for Covid related symptoms."
