Director SP Jhananathan, who’s known for making acclaimed movies such as Iyarkai, Ee, Peranmai and Purambokku Engira Pothuvudamai had been admitted to hospital after falling unconscious in his home before two days.
With Jhananathan being in critical care still with his vitals being observed and doctors giving treatment, actress Saranya of Kadhal, Peranmai fame who’s working with Jhananathan has requested people to not spread rumours about his health.
Saranya also revealed an emotion incident when Vijay Sethupathi, one of the heroes of Purambokku Engira Pothuvudamai and SP Jhananathan’s upcoming Labam went to Apollo Hospitals to see the director. As Vijay Sethupathi tried to wake him by hitting, people around questioned why he was forcefully hitting Jhananathan, and Vijay Sethupathi angrily said, Jhananathan is my director, he’ll wake up if I call. However Jhananathan didn’t wake up, and an emotional Vijay Sethupathi left the place crying, and saying this is life.
