Megastar Chiranjeevi's presence at the audio release event of Hormones should not surprise anyone. For the Congress leader attended the event only after he was convinced that the film has a pertinent message to tell. "When Nayak (Producer) and Dr. Anand Islavat (Director) came to invite me, they briefly narrated the story. I was inspired by the theme. The film has a powerful message to drive home. The line has a similarity to Punadi Rallu. In that film some youths migrate to a city to effect changes in the system. I feel that something on these lines is embedded in the structure of Hormones," the Megastar said.

Hormones might give a voyeuristic ring, but the term has a metaphorical significance. Chiru sized it up when he said that just as "hormones are important to keep the body in balance, the service of youngsters is indispensable for social balance."

As a parting shot, Chiru said in his style, "Everyone shall be a star if he combines perspiration with talent."
