After a big hit in his debut venture Thiruda Thirudi, director Subramani Siva is now back in Tamil to direct Jeeva for his next movie titled Pori (spark).

Soon after the Dhanush starrer Thiruda Thirudi became a big hit, the director went to Andhra Pradesh to do the Telugu remake of the movie. The movie Donga Dongadi witnessed moderate success.

After a brief interval, he returns to Tamil with Pori.

Asked about the gap between his projects, he says, 'the gap is not important. What is important is the quality of the film'

Speaking about the crux of the movie, Subramania Siva says, 'in everyone's life, there is some event that kindles the fire. That could sometimes bring a turning point in their lives. My film Pori is about one such event,'

Acting opposite Jeeva in the movie is Pooja.

It is a tailor-made role for Jeeva. He would certainly fit the bill, says the director.
