Director Suresh, who directed films including Gambheeram and Arasu starring Sarath Kumar will be directing Prashanth for his next movie.

The movie titled Kattan will star Prashanth in the lead role and would be produced by Prashanth’s father Thiyagarajan himself.

On the film, Suresh says "after Gambheeram, I took a small interval to come up with a good story.

I waited for a exciting storyline and I am happy the way the story of Kattan has shaped up. It would be an action packed venture quite typical to my early movies".

Hopefully, it lifts Prashanth's career.
