Real estate business tycoon S.V.Babu is trying his hands in cinema field for the first time. This is a hilarious comedy made lavishly shooting at Ramoji Rao film city in Hyderabad, Bangalore and other surroundings. One song of this film was shot on Bangalore and Hyderabad highway to suit the situation in the film.
'Honeymoon Express' is a comedy flick with top comedy artistes playing in it. This is for the first time ace director cum actor Narayan and Jaggesh who is with 100 films to his credit as comedy hero of Karnataka clubbing together to give a laugh riot. Nagendra Magadi is the director of this film. Anaji Nagaraj is the cameraman for this fun filled film.
Friends separate after a misunderstanding. Their children grow up in life and reunite the broken friendship is the crux of this film told in loads of comedy. The twin brothers Narayan and Jaggesh with varied interest in life fall in love with sisters Deepu and Santoshi. The eldest Deepu is hoping to make it big in films while the younger sister Santoshi is studying in the college. In the twin brothers family the elder (the difference between the two is just three minutes) is a choreographer and obviously he is in touch with the heroine Deepu.
When it comes to marriage between Narayan and Deepu and Jaggesh and Santoshi in 'Honeymoon Express' they cook up the whole issue and land in 'Honeymoon Express' contest. Who wins, who loses, what is confusion all about, the tricks and gimmicks to keep the audience engaged all dole out in this hilarious comedy film directed by Nagendra Magadi Pandu.
