Rapper Honey Singh came to limelight after several years after his wife Shalini Talwar accused him of abuse and harrassment. He was accused of assaulting his wife and indulging in extra marital affairs. Honey Singh has now reacted to these allegations and he has termed them as false and baseless. He also got support from several celebrities who commented in his support. 

Honey Singh's statement read, "I have never issued a public statement or press note in the past despite being subjected to harsh criticism for my lyrics, speculation on my health, & negative media coverage in general. However, I see no merit in maintaining a studied silence this time because some of the allegations have been directed at my family – my old parents and younger sister – who have stood by me during some very difficult and trying times and comprise my world. The allegations are cynical and defaming in nature." 

Infamous singer Tony Kakkar commented on the post, “Always there to support you paahji. God is with you." Actor Aparshakti Khurrana also commented in Honey Singh's support. He wrote, "“#StayStrong Paaji. Waheguru meher karey (May God bless you)."
