Popstar and rapper Hirdesh Singh (popularly known by his stage name Yo Yo Honey Singh) has landed in legal trouble after his wife Shalini Talwar filed a case of domestic violence against him. The case was filed under Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act. Honey Singh was accused of several acts of “physical, emotional, mental and verbal abuse.” Apparantly, he also turned “rude and aggressive” towards Shalini after his career took off.

Recalling a particular incident, Shalini said that when photos from their wedding ceremony were leaked, Hirdesh got panicked and best her mercilessly as he thought that she leaked the images while he actually wanted to hide his marital status.

Shalini also accused her husband of being sexually involved with multiple women. In a particular case, when Shalini confronted Hirdesh about adultery with his 'Brown Rang' co star, the popstar apparently threw a bottle of liquor at her. Hirdesh and Shalini were childhood sweethearts. They were in a decade long relationship before finally getitng married in 2011.
