Bhadra has been released and if the reports of the first two days are anything to go by the prognosis for the film is not so encouraging.

But whether the film succeeds at the box office or not, one thing is sure: It is a major disappointment for Ravi Teja, and more so for Meera Jasmine.

For Meera, touted as one of the most promising actresses in the circuit, this is the third big failure in Telugu.

Her Ammayi Bagundi (with Shivaji) did run for a few days. But by no stretch of imagination it could be called a hit.

Then there was the much-hyped Gudumbashankar with Pawan Kalyan. Again Meera was taken note of, but the film was a fiasco. In the meanwhile, the dubbed Yuva was released and met with the same fate.

And now Bhadra. Again, she has performed well. But the film may not do well.

Interestingly, Meera has also had not much success in Tamil. In fact, outside her home-pitch Malayalam, she is still to win consistently.

There is no questioning her ability (otherwise the talented K N T Sastry wouldn't cast her in his film Kamalini). But somehow Meera seems jinxed.

In a superstition-ridden industry, that's a problem.
