Amid rumours that Varun Tej’s ‘Ghani’ is facing some issues, the makers on Wednesday issued a statement. As per the official word, the film’s shoot will recommence once the worst of the second wave is over.
Producers Sidhu Mudda of Renaissance Films and Allu Bobby of Allu Bobby Company have revealed that 70% of the shoot of ‘Ghani’ has been completed successfully. The film, however, will not be released in July, considering that there is no update about its release date in the latest statement.
“Varun Tej is practicing boxing during the lockdown. A huge stadium set has been erected for the upcoming schedule,” the makers said.
They revealed that Hollywood stunt directors Larnell Stovall and Vlad Rimburg of ‘Titans’ and ‘Sulthan’ (Hindi) fame have been on-boarded for the crucial schedule.
Starring Saiee Mukerjee, Kannada star Upendra, Bollywood actor Suneil Shetty and the versatile Naveen Chandra in other roles, the film has music and cinematography by SS Thaman and George C Williams, respectively.
The film was supposed to hit the screens on July 30. It will now be postponed as 30% of the shoot and production works are yet to be completed. Kiran Korrapati, a debutant, is on his toes to bring out the best output.
