Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood notices ‘Jigarthanda Double X’ – Karthik Subbaraj feels proud

Karthik Subbaraj recently delivered ‘Jigarthanda Double X’ starring SJ Suryah and Raghava Lawrence. While the critics called the movie a love letter to cinema, it earned unprecedented appreciation both in theatres and in OTT. Now, the acclaimed flick is recognized by a Hollywood legend.

Jigarthanda Double X is filled with legendary Hollywood actor-director Clint Eastwood’s references and he was used as a character in a brief scene. The makers used an animated version of the veteran in the film. Clint Eastwood is now 93 years old and still making movies. A fan tagged him on Twitter (X) and asked him to watch Jigarthanda Double X.

Replying to the fan’s post, Clint Eastwood’s team responded, “Hi. Clint is aware of this Movie and he states he will get to it upon Completion of his New Film. Juror 2. Thank You.” Karthik Subbaraj, on learning that his idol is aware of his work, is on cloud nine and he replied with an emotional note. It is now going viral.
