On New Year's eve, actress Mollie Fitzgerald (38) was been arrested for allegedly stabbing her own mother Patricia "Tee" Fitzgerald to death. The 68-year-old victim was found dead with stab injuries on December 20 in her home in Kansas, US, after police were called on the scene. Gary Hunziker the brother of Patricia has stated: "We were shocked, It doesn't matter the circumstances — the loss of a sister is what it's all about."

The case is under investigation and the motive and circumstances of the crime are unknown currently. Mollie Fitzgerald is a small-time actress who appeared in a minor role as Stark Girl with Chris Evans in 'Captain America: The First Avenger'. She is also said to have worked as an assistant to Joe Johnston the director of the film.
