Ace producer Dil Raju has announced the Hindi remake of the Telugu-language crime thriller ‘HIT’. 'Newton' and 'Judgementall Hai Kya' actor Rajkummar Rao will step into the shoes of Vishwak Sen. Rao will be playing a cop who comes with a bitter past and has a mystery to solve.
To be shot in 2021, it will be directed by Dr. Sailesh Kolanu, the director of the Telugu original. Kuldeep Rathore will co-produce the untitled thriller. Currently in pre-production stages, the project is in nascent stages at the moment.
This one is going to be Dil Raju's second Bollywood flick, the first one being the remake of Nani's ‘Jersey’. In both cases, Raju has retained the directors of the original. The 'Jersey' remake is being remade by Gowtam Tinnannuri and has Shahid Kapoor reprising the Natural Star.
