Now a days there seems to be a revolving door between the Tamil and Telugu film worlds.

The moment a film becomes a success in one language, the other language picks it up avidly for remake.

In fact, the situation is such that a film need not even become a hit, it can just promise that. There are producers to re-make just on that promise.

Just take the case of the film that Tamil actor Vijay is doing now. It is titled Sachin.

Featuring Genelia and Bipasha Basu, the movie promises to deliver the goods. The producer Kalaipuli Thanu, who is so sure of the success, has rounded up Nitin as the hero for its remake in Telugu.

Of course, Thanu may have some rethink if the Tamil original doesn't do well. But actually even failures don't deter Telugu makers.

Nitin's ongoing project Dhairiyam itself is a good case in point. The film, a remake of the Tamil movie Sullan, is on despite the Tamil original being a colossal failure.
