HIT does well on Day 1, holds much promise

‘HIT’, which released this Friday, reportedly earned a share of more than Rs 1.25 Cr in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Day 1. Starring Vishwak Sen, this Nani production has every reason to smile about its opening collections.

Directed by Dr Sailesh Kolanu (debutant), the crime thriller has come in for critical adulation. As our review said, it's largely a true-blue murder mystery with lots of suspense going for it. "Nicely executed and smartly treated, 'HIT' proves to be a thriller with gravitas. Neat performances, especially by Vishwak Sen, and the high-end technical output make it winsome. But this one is far from being a perfect thriller. Sans a gripping story and a thrilling climax, the film does disappoint you a bit," IndiaGlitz's review noted.

The film holds much promise over the weekend.

Starring Ruhani Sharma, Bhanuchander, Murli Sharma and others, 'HIT' has cinematography and art direction by S Manikandan and Avinash Kolla, respectively.
