Adivi Sesh in 'HIT 2' plays a rookie cop brimming with enthusiasm to handle serious crimes. His boss, played by Rao Ramesh, is not impressed with his eagerness, for he believes or pretends to believe that heinous crimes don't take place in Vizag.

Cut to a few shots later, Sesh's character is in for the shock of his life when a person close to his heart is found murdered at a cafe. Meenakshi Chaudhary has a role cut short by tragedy.

Director Sailesh Kolanu, seemingly borrowing from the 'HIT: The First Case' template, sets up the story in an interesting way as far as the teaser is concerned.

Produced by Prashanti Tipirneni, this one features Srinath Maganti, Komali Prasad, and others. Posani Krishna Murali is seen as a journalist.

Manikandan S is the film's director of photography. John Stewart Eduri is composing the BGM. The songs have music by MM Sree Lekha and Suresh Bobbili. Stunts have been composed by Sunil Rodrigues, Venkat, Naba, and Real Sathish.

The crime thriller will hit the screens on December 2. Presented by Natural Star Nani, it tracks the story of the Homicide Investigation Team.
