The Ramappa Temple in Telangana's Mulugu will become a World Heritage Site if the World Heritage Committee of the UNESCO votes for it later this month. Vijay Deverakonda, who hails from the State, has tweeted about the same and said that he has always been intrigued by the antiquity of our past.

"Have always been very intrigued by the historic past. The 800-year-old Ramappa Temple built by the Kakatiya dynasty is now in the race for world heritage status," the actor tweeted.

The actor will be shooting for 'Liger' soon. "So far, 65% of the shoot has been completed. 'Liger' is a big-scale movie and that's the biggest challenge in these times. We are hoping to complete the production works in July and August. I am going to shoot for it in Mumbai," he said in a recent interview.

Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film has Ananya Pandey as the heroine. Ramya Krishna is the other major actor. The pending portions involve hundreds of people on sets.
