Director Perarasu is known for naming his movies after the towns and cities of Tamilnadu.

The director, who had worked with the likes of Ajith and Vijay before, has completed 'Thiruvannamalai' with Arjun playing the lead role. Now, he is ready to go to 'Thiruthani'. After a successful outing in Pazhani, Perarasu and actor Bharath come together again for Thiruthani. The movie would go to the floors on 11th December.

'Quite like my earlier ventures, 'Thiruthani' too will be filled with punch dialogues and action,' he said.

On 'Thiruvannamalai', he said, 'it is an action-packed flick with Arjun doing the male lead. I play the role of Dr Swamimalai, a medico at a government hospital.'

'One-liners, stirring action and most importantly my cameo had become an inevitable part in my movies nowadays,' preens Perarasu.

Produced by Kavithalaya, Thiruvannamalai is set to be released on December 12th.
