Dr. Dre said he nearly suffered a brain aneurysm in 2021 after ignoring the symptom of the matter. The Los Angeles rapper had left medics at home in confusion for two weeks, rebuilding after the pandemic. "This life of mine with James Corden," Dre narrated on an SIRIXM show when he had three strokes offshore.
He detailed the severe pain at the backside of the right ear, a clear symptom of cerebral aneurysm, on waking up. The first time he neglected the issue, he tried to have a nap until his son and friend insisted on medical help. When he was first rushed to urgent care, Dre's condition deteriorated enough to have him admitted to the ICU.
Reflecting on his health activities, Dre gives the astounding verdict of having had unchecked high blood pressure. The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke says that while almost daily exercises are done, active pressure from health activities can enhance the chances that lead to aneurysm.
Dre, one of the black men, said the problem with them is their high proneness to high blood pressure and their strong advice to often have health check-ups. This is what the American Heart Association says—none other than over half of struggling black adults with high blood pressure.
Dre is thankful he made it through it. In discussion, talking about a new appreciation of life, Dr. Dre is encouraging the others to focus on personal well-being along with an appreciation of the silent threat that goes along with undetected medical conditions.
All those are, however, best put clear by Dr. Dre's resilience and directness in putting across a matter that only necessitates remembering for proactivity around health.
