The recent televised interview was a rare one for Kamal Haasan as acting and cinema occupied very little time while most of it was hogged by politics. As a result the outspoken Ulaganayagan is facing two police complaints by different groups.

The Hindu Makkal Katchi as lodged a complaint at the Chennai Commissioner's Office that Kamal has degraded Mahabaratha, the holy book of Hindus. They have also asserted that Kamal has been speaking in a manner which is anti national causing unrest in TN.

In Coimbatore the Akila Hindu Mahasabha members tore photographs of Kamal Haasan in protest against his remarks against political parties and politicians!!!???. A complaint was submitted to the Collector seeking action against the legendary actor for championing the dismissal of the present TN government which assumed office under dramatic situations.
