A video of Hindu Mahasabha national secretary Puja Shakun Pandey shooting an effigy of Mahathma Gandhi on his 71st death anniversary, has gone viral all over social media, and has landed her in trouble. The Hindu Mahasabha usually celebrates January 30 as Shaurya Diwas.
The day is celebrated by the members of Hindu Mahasabha in memory of Nadhuram Godse who shot Gandhi, and as a part of yesterday's event, Puja Shakun shot his effigy, and blood is seen oozing out in the video. It has also been reported that she later distributed sweets to the other members.
Following the video turning viral, 13 members of the Hindu Sabha including Puja had cases filed against them, as informed by superintendent of police of Aligarh Akash Kulhary. It has been said that the police is conducting raids to arrest the people who were present in Naurangabad during the incident that has gone viral now.
