Hindi remake of ‘Rakshasudu’ is almost official!

‘Rakshasudu’, the 2019 psychological thriller, will be remade in Hindi. Director Ramesh Varma, who has directed films such as 'Ride' and 'Veera' before successfully directing 'Rakshasudu', will make his Bollywood debut with the remake. It may be noted that 'Rakshasudu' itself was a remake of the Tamil-language film 'Ratsasan'.

Reports say that a well-known Hindi actor will be reprising Bellamkonda Srinivas in the remake. Satyanarayana Koneru of A Studio and Havish will be bankrolling it. They had produced the Telugu version as well.

To be shot from next year, the film's cast and crew details are yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Ramesh Varma is also gearing up to direct a film with Ravi Teja. It might go on the floors in 2021.
