TV personality and choosy artiste Himaja will be seen in a full-fledged role in 'Ja', a horror-thriller directed by debutant Raisi Reddy Chitteppu. Also featuring Prathap Raj, this one had its first look released on Monday. Produced by Govardhan Reddy Kandukuri, the film offers Himaja an opportunity to break out into the next league.

Speaking on the occasion of the FL release, Himaja said that she accepted the film because of the well-written role and also because it is a full-length one.

Despite bagging notable films like 'Shatamanam Bhavati', 'SPYder', 'Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi', 'Vinaya Vidheya Rama' and others, Himaja hasn't got much fame in the film industry. She played a bold role in 'Rachayita', which didn't do well at the box-office, in 2018.
