Come February 8, the highly-acclaimed Tamil film 'Visaranai' (2015) will hit the screens in Telugu as a dubbed film. Titled 'Vicharana', this one is a docudrama crime thriller written and directed by Vetrimaaran.

Based on a novel named 'Lock Up', the National Award-winning entertainer features Dinesh, Anandhi and Aadukalam Murugadoss in the lead roles. Its music is by GV Prakash Kumar and cinematography is by S Ramalingam.

The film won three National Film Awards for the year 2015: Best Feature Film in Tamil, Best Supporting Actor (Samuthirakani, who will be seen sharing screen space with NTR and Ram Charan in the RRR movie), and Best Editing. 'Visaranai' was also India's official entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars. It failed to secure a nomination, though.

The film will lock horns with 'Yatra' and 'Seemaraja' (starring Samantha and Sivakarthikeyan) this Friday.
