The Real Star' of Kannada cinema in reality is having a big thought to promote for the coming elections in State. In a crowded media meet at Ruppis Resort Upendra took many questions and some of them were not to his liking.

· Today politics is from money and muscle power. It should go.
· From the base level the changes should take place.
· Like Swachcha Bharata, I want to bring in Swachcha Administration.
· I am not a leader of politician, I am a worker. We need people worker not people leader.
· I am not going to amalgamate with any political party in the coming days.
· All political parties invited me to join. I said no to all of them.
· I have stopped accepting at least six films for the purpose of this big leap in life.
