An event was held today in Hyderabad to announce NTR's name as the Brand Ambassador of Celekt Mobiles.  The 'Aravindha Sametha' actor was there to talk about the brand, why he chose to endorse it and more.

The ads of Celekt Mobiles are vibrant and innovative.  The company has a vision to establish 500 stores across the country in the coming years, 200 in just the Telugu States, he said.

There was a time when I would buy mobiles at Hyderabad's Jagadish market.  My first phone was a second-hand one when I was in Intermediate.  I don't know what happened to those phones.  I have been using only Android and iOS for years now, he said.

Mobiles today have become a very personal thing.  Our mobile is a prized possession.  It's a precious item, regardless of its cost.  When we buy it with care, it's great.  I have learned about iPhone after many years.  But if we buy a mobile after knowing its features, it would be great.  Celekt provides its customers with that opportunity.  They have come up with the idea of a virtual interaction with their customers, NTR said.

Has NTR ever taken a break from using mobiles in his life?  I am thinking of a digital detox.  But it's humanly impossible to wish away phones.  I have two kids now, I need to be more responsible towards them and I need a phone on the go.  Even if I don't use its features, I will use my mobile to talk, he said.

He recounted the incident that preceded the birth of his elder son, Abhay Ram.  I was shooting for 'Rabhasa'.  My wife was due to deliver a child.  But the date was a bit away.  I was in Switzerland when she had to be admitted to a hospital.  I was tensed.  I rushed to India, only to find that Pranathi delivered Abhay, NTR recalled.

What fears me is losing the numbers in my phone book.  When I buy a new mobile, I fear the prospect of being unable to download data from the old phone.  What if the cloud crashes? he noted.  I am a gaming freak.  I play a lot of games on my phone, he revealed.  My son watches a lot of rhymes, etc on YouTube.  The last thing I want him to watch on YouTube are my interviews.  Probably he will understand how wonderful I am, he joked.

The Nandamuri actor said that he doesn't understand how to pose for pics.  I can't be stiff.  When my wife asks me to take a pic, I am like 'You too?'  What is it about posing for pics?  My worst fear is my wife.  She wants to store so many pics.  The other day, she wanted to get a maternity photoshoot with me.  I ran away.  But she called up a photographer without my knowledge and surprised me, NTR remarked.

When asked if he is a part of the 'NTR' biopic, the actor refused to answer it.  I have already spoken about it in the past.  I don't want to talk again.  Please go back to that answer, NTR said with a tinge of impatience.

People are brand conscious these days. Once you become loyal to a brand, you are comfortable with them.  Some brands are vibrant, some are subtle.  What kind of brand you want depends on your preference.  Are you comfortable with a brand is what matters to you.
