Days after launching the pan-Indian project 'Major' (which he will co-produce), Mahesh Babu has spoken to a news agency on Tuesday.  He has described himself as a non-active producer at G Mahesh Babu Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.  

"I love cinema.  I love all forms of cinema.  My production house is being run by a very competent team," the superstar says.

Wouldn't his fans have loved to watch him as Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan in 'Major'?  Mahesh feels that Adivi Sesh completely fits the bill.  "I would have felt honoured to play the titular role, though.  But Sesh has travelled with his story for many years.  I am looking forward to watching him in the movie," Mahesh says.  The film will be directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and will release next year.   

The charming actor is confident that 'Maharshi' will be a landmark film in his career.  It releases on April 25 this year.  

A perfectionist, Mahesh attributes his youthful looks to his discipline, the kind of foods he eats, workouts, positive thinking and living.  

Saying that he doesn't understand politics, Mahesh opines that the country and the States are being governed by "able and strong and competent leaders".
