Rajinikanth has set off to Himalayas with a group of fans to light the Vadalur Vallalar's Jothy at Himalayas.

He is leading a team of his fans including All India Rajinikanth Fans Association chief Sathyanarayana to the sacred mountains to take part in a celebration to mark the birth anniversary celebrations of the spiritual guru.

The Vallalar Jothy would be lit on 21 August and the yathra would culminate with a special pooja at Vadalur on 9 September.

Meanwhile, the industry is rife with all kinds of rumors on his next movie. But as ever, the superstar is keeping the cards close to his chest.
