Renowned director Ram Gopal Varma is set to explore the political landscape through his upcoming films, 'Vyooham' and 'Sapatham,' both of which are lauding the leadership of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy and the ruling YSRCP. In this endeavor, Varma seems poised to tread a fine line as he takes aim at opposition parties TDP and Jana Sena, along with their leaders Chandra Babu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan.

The cast of the films includes Ajmal Amir, Manasa Radhakrishnan, Dhananjay Prabhune, Surabhi Prabhavati, Rekha Nirosha, Vasu Inturi, Kota Jayaram, and Elina Tuteja. Varma plans to release the films strategically during the political season, using them as a medium to express his political viewpoints. Despite sending the film for censorship, it faced an unexpected setback as the Censor Board redirected it to the revising committee.

This move stirred a controversy, with RGV and YSRCP supporters accusing the Censor Board of biased decisions based on political affiliations. However, Censor Board member Jeevitha Rajasekhar dismissed these claims, asserting that decisions are made impartially. In a surprising turn of events, the Telangana High Court intervened in the matter, directing the counsel representing the Central Board for Film Certification (CBFC) to provide an update on the certification status of 'Vyuham.'

Justice Surepalli Nanda presided over a petition filed by the filmmakers challenging the CBFC's refusal to certify the movie due to the enforcement of the election code of conduct in Telangana. Senior counsel S. Niranjan Reddy, representing the producer, argued that the certification process should not be stalled solely due to ongoing elections, emphasizing that such decisions fall under the jurisdiction of the Election Commission.

Seeking a court directive for the CBFC to conduct a review and issue the certificate within a specific timeframe, the senior counsel highlighted the urgency of the matter. The standing counsel, representing the CBFC, requested additional time to gather instructions on the certification process's current status. Consequently, the court adjourned the proceedings to November 28, adding another layer of complexity to the fate of 'Vyuham.'
