High Court's decision over Kamal's Nilavembu statements

The TN Government has been distributing free Nilavembu kashayam to its people to tackle the rising cases of dengue in the state. However, Kamal Hassan got into trouble when he instructed people not to consume Nilavembu until proper research is completed on its side effects.

The actor was severely condemned for his statements by the common public and also the political fraternity.  Regarding this a complaint was filed with the Madurai High Court branch. 

The Madurai high court has announced today that a case can be filed against the actor if the grounds on which Kamal is alleged to have spread false messages is proven true.
