'Thaana Serndha Koottam' directed by Vignesh Shivn starring Suriya, Keerthy Suresh is touted to be the first super hit of the year. The music which was scored by Anirudh Ravichander also became a much adored album among music fans and the general audience.

Earlier, a complaint was filed in the Chennai High Court by Sathish Kumar of AIADMK seeking a ban on the hit number 'Sodakku' citing the lines 'athigaara thimirai viratti viratti velukka thonudhu'.

The case came to hearing today and the panel of judges have requested for an English translation of the verses and the hearing has been moved on to a later date. It is expected that the translated version of the lyrics will be submitted to court on the next hearing following which a decision will be made by the court.
