All decks have been cleared for the release of 'Lakshmi's NTR', with the High Court in Telangana saying on Tuesday that the film's release can't be stalled. "The court can't interfere with the Freedom of Expression of a filmmaker," the court has been quoted as saying by several reports.
The court was looking into a petition filed by those opposed to the movie's release on grounds of law and order problems. It directed the government to provide security at the theatres if need be.
In case there are any offensive scenes in the movie, they will be censored. Probably, this is to allow for the Model Code of Conduct that is in force.
Ram Gopal Varma is planning to release the movie on March 29.
