In the trailer for 'Hero', debutant actor Ashok Galla is not seen talking much. He is part of several frames where other characters are the key players. But the male protagonist may well be having a secret agenda. Director Sriram Adittya has cast him as a youngster who wants to strike gold by becoming a Telugu cinema hero. His mother is supportive, whereas his father (played by Naresh) asks him not to build castles in the air.
Ashok's character is in love with a young woman, played by Nidhhi Agerwal. Her father, played by Jagapathi Babu, is derisive of the boyfriend's dreams. Vennela Kishore is part of a kidnap plot, whereas comedians Satya, Brahmaji and Satyam Rajesh are also seen.
With music by Ghibran and cinematography by the Sameer Reddy-Richard Prasad duo, 'Hero' has a never-seen-before element as per the director. The same has been kept under the wraps.
Produced by Padmavathi Galla, the film has the hero donning various get-ups in his attempt to pull off his mission. There are villains galore and Jagapathi Babu could be one of them. A Ramanjanyulu's art direction and Prawin Pudi's editing are expected to be different.
Venkat's fights are an important element, while Prem Rakshith, Jani, and Vijay Polaki (of Pushpa's 'Oo Antava' fame) have choreographed the songs.
The entertainer will hit the screens on January 15.
