The teaser of the Sivakarthikeyan's 'Hero' landed today and it seems to tackle the relevant issue of the problems in the educational system in the cyber age and presses the need for the common man to become a hero to tackle it. P.S. Mithran who dealt with cybercrime focussing on bank loan and credit card frauds in 'Irumbu Thirai' here too provides glimpses of the same intriguing visuals with strong characters.

The most striking aspect of the 'Hero' teaser is the strong dialogues such as "When a small boy says A for apple he is my product and when another says A for Aeroplane he is my competitor". The frames show very little of Sivakarthikeyan until the mass reveal of him in superhero costume suggesting a very new avatar for the crowd favourite leading man. Action King Arjun, Abhay Deol, Ivana and Kalyani Priyadarshan all seem to have weighty roles.

'Hero' produced by Kottapadi Rajesh under the banner KJR Studios has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by George C Williams and editing by Ruben. Release has been locked for the 20th December 2019 ahead of the festive Christmas holidays.
