The shooting for the new movie 'Hero' featuring Prithviraj in the lead has started at Ernakulam. The director Deepan, famous for his hit movie ‘Puthiyamukham’ has started canning the parts of the flick at FACT near Alwaye. Tamil star Sreekanth and Bala are in other important roles in this movie which will have Yami Gowtham, a star from Chanttisgarh, as the heroine.Vinod Guruvayoor pens the scripts for this action thriller which will also feature Nedumudi Venu and Thalaivasal Vijay in the supporting cast.

Meanwhile, the Mammootty-Lal flick on production 'Cobra' will restart its second schedule by the first week of January. Also directed by Lal, the movie will have much of its shoot at Ernakulam and Bangkok.
