Sivakarthikeyan who had a miserable outing at the box office with 'Seemaraja' and 'Mr. Local' has much to cheer as his latest release 'Namma Veettu Pillai' directed by Pandiraj an produced by Sun Pictures has hit a chord with the family audiences. The family-friendly star's next movie is 'Hero' directed by P.S. Mithran and produced by KJR Studios owned by Kottapadi Rajesh.
The title 'Hero' is under threat as producer Manikandan of Tribal Arts raised an issue that he is producing a film under the same title starring Vijay Devarakonda and directed by Anand Annamalai. As early as March 2019 Manikandan showed his protest that he had registered the title 'Hero' in 2017 itself and has shown the registration receipt from the Producers Council. Now Manikandan has raised the issue again stating that Kottapadi Rajesh of KJR Studios is overruling the norms of the council. He has sent a legal notice to Rajesh stating that the Producer Council Honorary Secretary Durairaj has conceded that the person who registered the title for the Sivakarthikeyan film had commited a mistake and the title belongs to Tribal Arts. We will have to wait and see if which of the dashing heroes Sivakarthikeyan or Vijay Devarakonda gets the title 'Hero'.
