Here's the shooting details of Mammootty's Kunjali Marakkar

Mammootty's upcoming movie Kunjali Marakkar IV is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated movies in Mollywood. To be made on a whopping budget of rupees 50 Crores, the movie is about the Muslim naval chief of the Zamorin of Calicut, in the 16th century. According to latest update, the shooting of the movie, will start on June 2018 at Thikkodi, Kozhikode.

This Santhosh Sivan directorial will be mostly shot in the sea. As the upcoming movie will also involve high standards of VFX, the team is planning to rope in foreign technicians for handling the same. T P Rajeevan and Shankar Ramakrishnan are jointly scripting the film. Kunjali Marakkar will be produced by Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Natesan and Arya under the banner August Cinemas. The film will line up a number stars besides Mammootty.

Meanwhile, Mammootty is basking in the success of his latest release Masterpiece, which has opened to positive response from the mass.
