Director Bejoy Nambiar met Superstar Rajinikanth at his residence to get his blessings for his debut South Indian film 'Solo' that will hit the big screens on October 5th. While the pictures of the meeting are doing rounds on the internet, Dulquer fans were disappointed that the actor had given a miss. Dulquer took to his Facebook handle to share a few snaps of the meeting and said that he missed the meeting because of his shooting schedule. "Had to miss this meeting because of shoot. But how amazing is this !! God bless the superstar for blessing #Solo !!", wrote Dulquer Salmaan.

Starring Dulquer Salman in the lead, Solo is an anthology of four tales. In the movie, Dulquer Salmaan will be seen essaying four characters in different get-ups - Rudra, Shiva, Shekhar and Trilok. Solo will have four female leads played by Arthi Venkatesh, Cinema Company actress Sruthi Hariharan, Neha Sharma and Sai Dhansika. 

Produced by Abraham Mathew's Abaam Movies and Bejoy Nambiar’s home production banner Getaway Films, the upcoming Tamil-Malayalam bilingual has Manoj K Jayan, Airlift actor Prakash Belawadi, John Vijay, filmmaker Quashiq Mukherjee and many others in pivotal roles. The movie which runs for 2 hours and 34 minutes in Malayalam has been awarded a U certificate by the Censor Board and U/A in Tamil. Solo will hit the big screens on October 5.
