Superstars Salman and Shahrukh Khan have ruled the mainstream Indian cinema for years. Although they were portrayed as rivals, the two actors actually have nothing but love and goodwill for each other. They often made appearances in each other's movies as gestures of friendship. Now YRF is planning to kickstart their spy universe by uniting both the superstars on the screen for the action packed climax of Shahrukh Khan's Pathan.

For his extended cameo appearance, Salman worked for 10 days on the project and it was speculated that he'll be paid quite a sum for his work. However, it didn't turn out to be so. Salman has refused to take any money for his cameo in 'Pathan'. According to Bollywood Hungama, when Aditya Chopra went to Salman to discuss his payment, the actor straight up refused and was heard saying, "Shah Rukh is like a brother. I would do anything for him."

When Aditya further insisted, Salman said, "Split my fees by adding it to the budget of Pathan and Tiger."
