Here is why Sunny is hailing bikini-clad heroines

  • IndiaGlitz, [Saturday,December 23 2017]

Sunny Leone, as we know, is a victim of moral policing in Karnataka. Protests by pro-Kannada activists broke out against her scheduled December 31 performance at a 5-star hotel, post which the event has been cancelled.

After slamming moral police on Twitter, the Bollywood diva has raised a toast to the forerunners of bikini on the Indian film screen. Sharmila Tagore, Dimple Kapadia, Parveen Babi (wrongly mentioned as Mandakini in her tweet) and Zeenat Aman, feature in her post. Through this post, Sunny wants to throw a snook at her detractors. "A few women in Bollywood who have taught me that it's perfectly ok to be myself. Sharmila Tagore...Mandakini...Dimple Kapadia...Zeenat Aman."

Sunny recently signed up to do a multi-lingual film. It will be a period fantasy.
