It's known that daughter Shruti Haasan has teamed up with her legendary father Universal Star Kamal for the drama Shabhash Naidu. A Raj Kamal Films production, it is a Tamil-Telugu- Hindi trilingual directed by acclaimed Malayalam director T.K. Rajeev Kumar. The news is that Shruti is done with her first day's shoot. She simply can't hide her joy over working with dad. "Fantastic first day of shoot - so honoured to be Working with my father- he brings so much positivity and passion to a set #sabashnaidu," she said.

Her buddy Devi Sri Prasad replied, "Hey Shruthi!! I think think this is gona be one of ur biggest achievements! Being on screen with ULAGANAYAGAN !! All d Best!"

The film's shoot has been kick-started in the US. Kamal plays a RAW officer in this film, which has Brahmanandamplaying his assistant. About 80 pc of the film will be shot in that country. The shoot will be wrapped up by the end of June or the first week of July.

Ramya Krishnan is paired up with Kamal, and Shruthi Haasan shares screen space with her father after a long gap since Thevar Magan.
