Shruti Haasan has walked out of 'Sangamithra' by choice. The prestigious project, costing more than Rs. 250 Cr, was to be her costliest movie ever. With an author-backed role, it would have been her most important film for a long time to come. But that was not to be.

The actress was failed by the makers in providing a bound script as well as the shoot schedule. Given that production activities were to take longer than usual, and the entire process could be completed only two years from now, Shruti expected a bound script to be given beforehand.

On her part, she has been undergoing combat training for the last two months. With no development on the scripting front, she finally called it quits today. Her next films are going to be 'Behen Hogi Teri' and 'Sabaash Naidu'.
