China has registered about 81,518 corona positive cases. Of the infected, 3,305 have died. Recoveries stand at 76,052.

The above figures, however, are suspect in the eyes of many, especially the deaths. Not many are willing to believe these numbers for several reasons. As per several experts, China has been lying through the teeth from the beginning about the rates of infection and fatality in the country.

Recently, Daily Mail said that China's true infection total could be anything up to 40 times as high as reports had suggested. "Social media users in Wuhan have suggested the toll could be in excess of 42,000," the report adds.

As further explanation, the report reveals, "Social media posts estimate that 3,500 urns are being handed out by crematoriums each day, while Caixin reports that one funeral home in the city placed an order for 5,000 urns."
