On Sunday, Kamal Haasan's office in Alwarpet, Chennai, turned into a beehive of activity as leaders of his fan clubs across the state participated in a meeting in which senior advocates were also present. The current political situation in the State was the core topic while the procedures to face the legal hassles from the ADMK government were also probed.

It is reported that most of the fan club leaders were of the opinion that the Universal Star should enter active politics. The legendary showman, however, has told them that they are in politics right now and their job does not end with casting votes. There are whispers that the clubs were advised to become completely functional as far as social issues are concerned.

Only recently, when a nationally famous journalist asked him if he can be expected to debut in politics, Kamal sensationally said that they should pray he doesn't become a politician. "If you believe in prayers, pray that I don't come.. Me and my men, so angry, come into politics, because we will carry guns when we come," he has been quoted as saying.
