Here is why Jayaprakash Reddys Alexander is unique

Jayaprakash Reddy's villainy in Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Samarasimha Reddy' made him a force to reckon with in the Telugu film industry. Many years later, he started excelling in comic roles in mass-masala flicks such as 'Nayak'. Not many know that Jayaprakash is a former theatre artist with a strong passion for plays.

His upcoming feature film, 'Alexander', will show the versatile artiste in the role of a retired military Major. Adapted from a popular mono-act play named 'Alexander', this one is directed by Davala Satyam.

Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Jayaprakash says that his character sets up a helpline through which people reach him to seek solutions in the movie. Mono-act plays are not new to the talented artiste, who has tried the genre many times as a theatre performer.

Saying that the likes of Anupam Kher and Ashish Vidyarthi have inspired him to go in for mono-act plays, Jayaprakash exudes confidence about 'Alexander'.
