As reported Wednesday, Bithiri Sathi aka Chevella Ravi Kumar most recently said goodbye to TV9, the top-ranked Telugu-language news channel in which his program Ismart News was one of the most-watched shows. The mimicry artist-turned-TV celeb's resignation from TV9 has raised eyebrows. What was the reason for his sudden exit?

Media reports say that Sathi was mighty miffed with the management for putting forth objections to his Father's Day special, in which he happened to show an image of his father without the editorial team's consent. "I tried to be real. But this was not to the liking of the management," he has been quoted as saying.

Despite the fact that his show was the "second-most viewed" one on TV, Sathi was not spared by the management.

The former 'Theenmaar' face of V6 used to face one or another issue with the management ever since he joined it. He finally called it quits. The famous TV personality, who has dabbled in movies, too, is currently looking for suitable opportunities.
