On Tuesday, as the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections were on, a video clip in which Tamil superstar Ajith was seen grabbing the smartphone of a fan went viral. He snatched the phone with a tinge of anger. Since the 'Vivegam' actor is known for being cool, many were shocked by his behaviour. 

Going into details, Ajith grabbed the phone because he was miffed that the fan was not wearing a face mask and wanted to take a selfie with him. At a time when the pandemic is raging on, the actor seems to have felt the need to maintain a distance from the fan. 

After some time, Ajith returned the phone to the fan by warning against not wearing a mask. In an IndiaGlitz exclusive video, the fan is heard replying, 'OK, Thala!'. 

Ajith was accompanied by Shalini to the polling booth in Chennai. Reportedly, the couple reached the booth 30 minutes before the voting began. The cops there had some tough time controlling some eager fans. The duo was asked to sit inside the booth.
