D Suresh Babu doesn't seem to be too bullish about the potential of OTT platforms in these times of COVID-19 pandemic. The star producer, in his interview to FilterKaapiLive, suggests that certain conditions need to be in place for direct movie releases to happen on streaming giants at a time when theatres and such public places are losing their sheen.

"OTT will be valuable especially if big companies are in the fray. The question is are we looking at a scenario where the entire world has a subscription to OTT platforms? Will it become as commonplace as having a mobile phone with 5 subscriptions to five different OTT platforms?" Suresh Babu, who has produced many acclaimed films on Suresh Productions, asks.

He adds that producers could say to the OTT to pay them one dollar for every impression if the value of OTT goes up substantially.
